Day 90: Lima – Panama City (Peru, Panama)

Monday, March 26th, 2018:

We get up early in our room in San Augustin Exclusive Hotel, pack our stuff one last time and go for breakfast to the Courtyard by Marriot in Miraflores. Online checkin is still impossible. Again the breakfast is worth it …

The almond croissants have been one of the culinary highlights of this 3 month trip …

… and these where the only benedict eggs, available in south america … a defecit.

We go back to our Hotel, brush the teeth and go to get our prearranged airport transfer. Never trust your G adventures CEO. There is no Airport transfer. So we order one via the hotel, they pick us up at 10:30 am and off we go to Lima Airport.

We check-in in with Copa Airlines, partner of Lufthansa. They accept our piority card and check us in without letting us queue up. They confirm the emergency exit seats on the long haul in (A340-300 always go for 30A, 30C).

We have a second late breakfast at Tanta at Lima Airport.

Flight 22: Copa Airlines CM760 (LH5480) Jorge Chavez International Airport, Lima (LIM) 13:42 to Tocumen International Airport, Panama City (PAC) 17:24 duration 03h41

The guy beside us sleeps all time long quietly. The have free Oreo and another Pilsner to try …

Panama City aiport is the last airport in the world without free wifi and USB or intl sockets to load cell fones. Anyway, we stay only less than 2 hours and then, after 20 times of easy south american boarding procedures we have Lufthansa boarding again …
