Day 2 of Ventus Australis – Fjords of Tierra del Fuego
Today we will do the first “challenging hike” at Ainsworth Bay. In the afternoon there is a further Zodiac ride to the Tucker Islands. Tucker islands are a nature reserve, which you are not allowed to enter by foot. They have a smaller colony of Magellan Penguin than the Monumental Reserve but they also have Royal Comorans.
The weather is patagonian fine, european bad. Windy, rain, fog, limited sight. We dress up waterproof and go for the hike.
